About counselling

Counselling offers a defined time and place where you can offload and explore whatever is distressing you. By being able to count on someone who genuinely accepts you as you are, does not judge you, listens deeply and offers a trusting space, counselling can help you to understand yourself and the situation you are in and rebuild how you see yourself and how you approach life in a more meaningful and peaceful way.

My fundamental philosophy and stand point is person-centred. I value each person for mere the fact of existing, independent of what they are going through in their lives. I strongly believe that each of us has the inner strength, wisdom and resources we need to heal and to grow as human beings. But these sometimes are hidden beneath pain, anger, distress, confusion, hopelessness, etc. This is where counselling offers the possibility of unlocking that inner wealth allowing new light to appear from within.

Service I offer

As a person-centred and integrative counsellor I offer individual counselling sessions for children, young people, adults or elderly.

Through talking and the use of different techniques such as embodiment, breathwork, expressive media, mindfulness,  and creative activities we can begin a process of looking inside and reconnect with self and the world around.

Among other aspects, our counselling process can help you
  • Understand your distress
  • Feel listened to, valued and not on your own
  • Accept and manage difficult feeling
  • Gain new insights into your own sexual, historical and actual identity.
  • Get new perspective into your life
  • Identify inner resources that help you cope with a difficult situation
  • Listen deeply to what your body and heart is saying
  • Re-connect with your own self growing in confidence and self-appreciation and self-esteem.
  • Find deeper peace within.
